I think Dr. Lilles’ podcast is an excellent introduction to The Interior Castle. I like how he presented background on the turmoil in the church and the world during St. Teresa’s time. I liked his good advice of listening to Teresa as a friend, having an open mind and heart to learn from our holy Carmelite mother.
